  • PEMF

PEMF or Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields simulates the metabolism of the cell, which rejuvenates the body by oxygenating the red blood cells, and targets the areas that are inflamed or injured. Having nutrient-rich blood go to the cells that need it will stimulate a quicker recovery.

    Benefits of PEMF

    • Promotes Cell Regeneration

    • Improves Circulation

    • Relieves symptoms of Depression

    • Promotes Bone Healing

    • Reduces Chronic Pain

    • Increases Range of Motion

    • Speeds postsurgical healing

    • Tissue Oxygenation

    • Decreases inflammation and edema

    • Better sleep and natural relaxation

  • Cold Laser

Cold Laser stimulates healing as the laser works to penetrate deep, 4-6 cm. Laser therapy provides pain and swelling reduction, increased blood flow to the area, increased wound healing by stimulating fibroblasts and collagen at the wound site, nerve regeneration and rapid cell growth for faster healing times.

Benefits of cold laser include pain management of arthritis, degeneration of the cartilage, as well as other joint problems or deformities caused by old injuries, age, or neglect.

Cold laser therapy has been used to treat equines with a variety of ailments including back pain, osteoarthritis, muscle pain, repetitive motion stress syndrome, tendon, and ligament injuries, and has also proven beneficial to aid post-operative healing.

Depending on the injury of the horse in question, the reduction of inflammation will improve the horse's quality of life. Because it promotes quicker tissue repair, this is an ideal choice for horses with open wounds, and also improves arthritic conditions in horses because of its ability to ease pain and inflammation.

It can also stimulate the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is the network of tissues that work together to move lymph into the bloodstream. This can help the horse to remove toxins from its system, greatly simulating recovery and healing.

  • KT Taping

KT Taping is a rehabilitative technique designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process by providing soft tissue support and manipulation. This manipulation mimics the effects of massage while also providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting their range of motion.

KT taping can be used at any point in the healing process, from acute onset to sub-acute, chronic, or into the rehabilitative stage. It may also be used as a preventative modality in the face of rehabilitation or strenuous exercise.

When used properly, KT taping provides support during movement, improves circulation and lymphatic flow, reduces pain, inflammation and tension, relaxes and assists muscles, releases fascia, and improves joint function.
